The League provides a social environment for members to meet, plan and participate in different events. The underlying goal of many activities is to raise necessary monies to support the Symphony and community education programs for both children and adults. League members reach out to acquaint the community with our prestigious orchestra and yearly events."

An active Board of Directors guides the League's programs that are aimed at achieving our goals. League members participate at various levels in numerous Symphony events as well as many interesting musical trips and tours throughout the season.

Our League is a busy and vibrant organization. The League warmly invites all classical music lovers to join our 300+ members in ongoing support of the New West Symphony.

Our Amazing Trip to Russia

League members raved about their fall 2008 Russia trip. Seventeen members began their adventure in St. Petersburg where they marveled at the treasures of the Hermitage Museum, visited Catherine's Palace, and attended an elegant event performance of Swan Lake Ballet. In Moscow, ten more League members joined the party, and together they experienced the Kremlin, the Armory, St. Basil's Cathedral, the G.U.M. department store, and the Moscow Circus. The group then boarded a riverboat to cruise the Volga River to the Black Sea, stopping at fascinating cities to visit beautiful, historic churches and mosques.
The League has sponsored other trips to Canada, the Far East and Europe as fundraisers for the Symphony. A fun and educational way to support our fine orchestra!
